Laurie Bible, RN, LNC, is Lona Creek Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC’s owner, lead nurse consultant, and coordinator. After graduating with her Associate of Science in Nursing Degree from Keiser University, she began her career caring for patients at Shands at the University of Florida. Laurie has many years of experience working in the ICU & surgical ICU, plus many years working in long-term acute care, which if you’re familiar, can be just as or more complex as ICU some days. This is where Laurie became more specialized & trained in all types of wound and ostomy care.

Having relocated and transitioned from acute care, Laurie took on a more supervisory role at a local hospital, which helped her grow as a nurse. She was directly responsible for staffing, ultimately affecting patient care and satisfaction. Also, working in management, she was involved with developing teams and policies and working towards having a safer patient environment with better staff compliance.
